Latest Information / Important Announcements

Our very own Bear Creek resident (and Trustee), Lisa Alexander is running for Ward 2 Alderman during the upcoming election, Tues, April 7th (6am-7pm).

Lisa has been involved in the Wentzville Lions Club for more than 20 years. She has connected families to services that they need, such as mental health, food and housing support. She understands the variety of services available and how to bring the needed parties together to create support plans for people who are struggling to build.

For Lisa, care and service were never about the individual but about the greater good of our neighbors and community. As your Alderman, Lisa commits to responding to every request concern and inquiry no matter the differing values be beliefs or political affiliation.
Collaboration and partnership is a main focus for Lisa whether within the community or internal to the city organization.

Aside from the above, Lisa has been a resident of the Bear Creek subdivision since 2000 and was awarded Citizen of the Year for the City of Wentzville in 2024.
Make sure to exercise your right to vote!

Property Maintenance/Inspections in Wentzville

Please welcome to the board our newest members –

Shyla Conrad (Trustee):

Shyla is replacing Rod McKenzie as a Trustee on the Board. Shyla Conrad and her husband Mark Moreno bought their lot in the Greens of Bear Creek (section off Longest Drive by clubhouse) in 1999 and moved in with three children, Cory and Cale Conrad and Treyson Moreno upon completion of their Bax built home in August of 2000, when the population of Wentzville was just over 5,000 residents. Their youngest daughter, McKenna Moreno – now 24, was born in October of 2000. Shyla immediately became active at Bear Creek when she started playing on the Thursday Bear Creek Ladies Golf League when it started in 2001.
Shyla attended the majority of the homeowners meetings when they started and was one of the three people on the committee to canvas the neighborhood to get the votes to have the pool built. Shyla was also on the Bear Creek Social Committee when it existed. Shyla has a deep love for the neighborhood (having been here when there were less than 100 homes and there were no homes from the clubhouse to North Point Prairie). She owns her own Travel Agency, Wentzville Travel LLC/Sisters at Sea and is a caregiver for her Profoundly Autistic son, Treyson.

Lisa Alexander (Trustee):

Lisa Alexander moved to Missouri from Glen Bernie, Maryland after college to care for her ailing grandmother. She remained in the St. Louis area and received her real estate license for the state of Missouri. Currently with BHHS Select Properties, Lisa worked at the St. Louis Post Dispatch/Suburban, in St. Charles County.
Lisa has been a resident in Bear Creek since 2001 and has been actively working in the community through the Wentzville Outreach Lions Club. For the last nine years, this club has served senior complexes, veterans, and homeless people by providing meals for the holidays. For the last three years, they have issued backpack and school supplies to local schools.
Lisa joins the Bear Creek Homeowners Association as a Trustee with the interest of getting to know her neighbors and share her expertise with others. She is looking forward to interacting with the subdivision and to continuing the great status of our community.
Additionally, Lisa attends Church on the Rock in St. Peters, MO and for the past five years has been a board member of the Foristell Chamber of Commerce.
Fun fact: Lisa was voted 2024 Citizen of the Year for the city of Wentzville!

Jason Chadwell (C&R Committee):

Jason Chadwell is joining the Board as a Covenants & Restrictions (C&R) Committee Member. Jason and his wife, Jen, moved into the neighborhood in June of 2023 and have enjoyed becoming part of the Bear Creek community.
Although still relatively new to the neighborhood, Jason is looking forward to serving in this role and helping support the consistency, clarity, and overall appearance of the community. He brings a practical, level-headed approach, a willingness to listen, and a genuine interest in keeping Bear Creek running smoothly.
Jason works in sales and enjoys golf as one of his main hobbies, which made Bear Creek an easy place to feel at home. He and Jen share their home with their two Boston Terriers, Rambo and Ruby, and appreciate the welcoming environment the neighborhood has provided since they moved in.
He is excited to serve as a C&R Committee Member and looks forward to doing his part to help the neighborhood continue to thrive.

Jeff Crow (Neighborhood Watch Committee):

Jeff is replacing Betty Jarvis.
Hi neighbors! My name is Jeff Crow, and I'm honored to be joining the Neighborhood Watch Committee here in Bear Creek. I'd first like to take a moment to thank Betty Jarvis — for not only her dedication to the neighborhood watch, but to our community as well. Between the watch and her work with the Garden Club, Betty volunteered to make Bear Creek a better place, and those contributions do not go unnoticed.
My family and I relocated here two years ago from Colorado Springs, where I had the privilege of serving alongside a retired military servicemember and law enforcement officer — an experience that sharpened my skills and deepened my appreciation for those who truly protect and serve. That passion for safety was built over 10 years working in home security with ADT, where I worked directly with homeowners and business owners before and after break-ins, gaining a real-world understanding of both prevention and response. Security isn't just professional for me — it's personal. Having experienced a break-in myself growing up, I understand the emotions, vulnerability, stress, and disruption it brings to a family. It's those experiences that make this work personal, and my commitment to our neighborhood's safety genuine.
At home, I'm kept busy by my wonderful wife Sarah, our two kids Calvin & Cierra (ages 10 and 8), and our loyal English Bulldog, Rocky — who takes his own neighborhood patrol duties very seriously! I can also confirm, for the record, that neither of my children own electric bikes nor have any interest in fishing — so rest assured, they are not the culprits! They have, however, taken a natural interest in the neighborhood watch and are actively recruiting classmates and neighbors into what they're calling the "Prowl Patrol."
We originally moved here to be closer to my grandparents, Cleo and Zola Crow, both of whom called Bear Creek home. Some of you may have had the pleasure of knowing my grandfather Cleo, a proud military veteran who embodied the kind of character and spirit that makes this place special to us. It's an honor to carry his name in this community, and I can only hope to live up to the reputation he left behind. We've fallen in love with this community and made some lifelong friends over the past two years. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to keep Bear Creek the place we're all proud to call home.
